Botanicals Pear Chinese Turquoise with Succulent Necklace
I collect succulents (sedum) on a regular hike during the month of April and come home and cast them into silver. They don't last more than a few hours so I have to plan the hike and come home and cast them. They turn out sometimes, others they don't as casting from organics can be tricky. This beauty was a treat. Fully cast and striking. Pair this one up with a Chinese matrix pattern turquoise. Can hang a couple of ways depending on how you position it. Always delightful either way.
The sedum is 1.5" across by .33" around. It pairs up with a turquoise measuring 1.25" long by .50" wide. Hand wrought in sterling silver by fabrication and in studio casting. Connected to an adjustable open oval chain of 3mm wide and longest length of 17" but able to use the lobster claw clasp on the open link shorter.
One of a kind from nature and my hands.
