Unearthed Crystal Epidote in Quartz with Green Tourmaline Pendant
Crystals of epidote slice through this quartz crystal creating bold lines and detailed crystal structures frozen in time. Extremely unique specimen. Held in a frame with asymmetrical prongs. Details of a crystal structure is hand engraved above the quartz. An angled halo is toped off with a deep green tourmaline and simple bail.
The hand engraving is a process of cutting lines into the metal with hand sharpened gravers. Each time they are used, they get sharpened for cutting. It take time and muscle memory skills to engrave. I love the idea of translating my drawing ideas into metal. Sketches of imagery and inspiration.
The statement show stopper pendant is 3.5"long and1.2" wide. The crystal depth is just over 2.5". It is available on a simple 1.5mm cable chain or a 17" heavy round cable chain with J hook closure to convert to other pendant styles.
Hand fabricated in sterling silver, oxidized and hand rubbed satin sheen finish. One of a kind, heirloom quality and solid construction.
