The river lichen shape was hand carved in wax and cast in my studio. The elements have been hand fabricated and built. Three cup lichen of 18 karat gold sit in the river lichen providing a striking contrast to the smoky charcoal gray patina on the sterling silver. A blue sapphire is nestled in 18 karat gold at the bottom of the river lichen. Finished off with a simple heavy jump ring bail with the chain cow hitched to the ring.. The patina will wear when worn and the high points will lighten even more with time.
The pendant measures 1.45" long by .50" wide. The sapphire is .03ct and measures 1.8mm. The chain is available in 16 and 18 inches long.
