A fan lichen patterned with tiny veining was carved, fabricated and cast in my studio. The smoky charcoal patina is a striking contrast to the tiny sparkling diamonds flush set into the fan lichen. a rich green emerald cabochon is wrapped in 22 karat gold and sitting at the bottom of the fan. A solid 18 karat gold jump ring serves as the bail. The smoky charcoal patina is a striking contrast to the high karat gold, diamonds and green emerald.
The emerald measures 3mm. The stone boasts a natural pattern of inclusions, veins, specks or otherwise intrinsic characteristics that add to the natural beauty of the stone. The diamonds are tiny specks of sparkle dancing across the surface. The diamonds measure approximately 1.2mm each with a total weight of .03cttw.
The pendant is 1." long by .70" wide and hangs from a 16 or 18" 1.5mm cable chain finished with a lobster claw and makers tag. Easily wearable for a go to piece. It is lightweight but solidly built.
