A softly toned dusty pink rose cut sapphire is the centerpiece of this pendant. The pendant is accented with a .05ct pink sapphire set into 18k gold bezel. The smoky charcoal patina is a striking contrast to the softly colored stone. A hidden bail is behind the fan shape top.
The sapphire is 17.75ct and measures 24.3x16.3mm. The stone boasts a natural pattern of inclusions, veins, specks or otherwise intrinsic characteristics that add to the natural beauty of the stone. Small black needle inclusions a speckled though out the stone. The tone is soft and subtle and has a schiller of reflective inclusions running through the stone that are impossible to capture in photos. It plays prettily in the light.
The pendant is 1.4" long by 1" wide and hangs from a 16 or 18" 1.5mm cable chain finished with a lobster claw and makers tag. Easily wearable for a go to piece!
