River Lichen Kingman Turquoise and Ruby Pendant

Carved under a microscope, this piece is representation of a lichen specimen that was hand carved in wax by me. I molded and cast the wax of the lichen in sterling silver. You will see this element pop up in my work, often paired with gemstones and tiny gold dishes that are also representing the dish type lichen in nature.
Hand cast and fabricated in sterling silver and 18 karat gold. This gorgeous Kingman Turquoise oval is paired with a 2mm rich red ruby faceted stone.
The pendant is 2" long by .85" wide. It is oxidized and hand finished to reveal the silver underneath. It hangs from a sterling silver 1.5mm cable chain in 16, 18 or 20" long finished with a lobster claw clasp.
